Real oyster shells, decoupaged by hand and edged with painted gold or silver trim, then hung on satin ribbon and ready to give.
They earn their place on a Christmas tree, but most people leave them out all year — on a mirror, a door handle, a window catch. Lobsters, lighthouses, sea turtles, palm trees and mermaids, with sets if you are dressing a whole tree.
