Salty C's Treasures is a one-woman studio on the Chesapeake. Shells are cleaned, cured and layered with fine decoupage papers, then sealed and edged in gold. What arrives at your door is a piece of the shoreline you can keep.

How it is made
From shoreline to shelf
Gathered
Shells collected locally, then scrubbed, soaked and sun-cured for weeks until clean and hard.
Layered
Fine papers cut to follow each shell's own ridges, then sealed coat by coat.
Gilded
Edges finished by hand in muted gold — the detail that makes a shell look deliberate.
Sent
Wrapped in tissue and boxed, ready to give. Most orders ship within three to five days.
